On the surface, Auroraflow may seem just like your everyday spa. What's inside—that's where wellness gets reimagined.
Our beautiful 7-room facility is designed from an iconic Durham home built in the early 1900's and was named "the Petty House" after Rosa and Andrew Petty. Located in Durham's historic West End neighborhood, this is one of the few buildings that still stands after the construction of the freeway that removed the 700 block of Vickers.
The building has withstood the consistent transformation of the West End but has maintained its character, charm, and Durham heritage. We will be doing our best to maintain the beauty of this iconic building.

Auroraflow recognizes the importance of spaces in creating a welcoming, supportive environment. That's why we will be carefully designing our facility to integrate art, nostalgia, and Durham's charm into every square foot. Each of our rooms will be themed to encapsulate the beauty of our world (and beyond), including a space room, an ocean room, the wilderness, and more. Rooms will include murals from talented artists and vintage and antique furnishings.

Auroraflow is deeply committed to creating a radically inclusive space that welcomes people of all races, sexualities, body types, ability levels, and more. As we grow, we will be working directly with community partners to ensure we maintain the diversity of our staff and begin to break the norm for "who has access" to massage and bodywork services.
