Giules Colpo (She/they) - pronounced Jewels - received training at the Birmingham School of Massage in Alabama (2020-2021) and the International Lymph Institute (2022). Specializing in Swedish, deep tissue, Neuromuscular, and lymphatic massages, Giules combines techniques to address chronic issues and promote holistic wellness. In addition to their practice, they taught bodywork, body mechanics, and chair massage as an instructor at the Birmingham School of Massage for a year and a half.
They are committed to creating a safe space and affirming experience for all clients, advocating inclusivity and equality within their practice. They credit their foundational support to the Magic City Acceptance Center, a nonprofit queer center in Birmingham where Giules participated in programs as a young adult. The center's directors played a pivotal role in mentoring Gilules in establishing their practice as a welcoming space.
Outside the office, Giules can be found on outdoor adventures with their partner, such as hiking and biking, nurturing their garden, exploring parks, and enjoying moments of tranquility with needlework.
