Ren was a massage therapist in Durham for a decade before retiring in 2023 to focus on cybersecurity and software development. They help support the staff at Auroraflow both at the front desk and as local IT to ensure the upmost safety and privacy for staff and clients as well as keeping the website up-to-date.
In their free time, Ren enjoys (solely) the company of their parrot whom they take out freeflying in various Durham parks when they can. They run a small art studio called Scattered Glass Tapestry that specializes in bead weaving with many pieces currently showcased at Auroraflow and are a member of the local Weavers Guild. They can be found espousing the joys of Linux and the decentralized internet when they aren't elbows-deep in the circuitry of a legacy computer.
